Safety Engineer – Hydrogen

Brief description
You will support identifiable projects along the hydrogen value chain projects (production and distribution units, fuel cells) as part of investment and innovation initiatives.
PROFILE
-
Engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in Safety and Industrial Risks,
-
Initial experience in safety engineering,
-
Methods : HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA, etc.
-
Fluent in English,
-
Strong interest in the energy transition and the hydrogen sector
DESCRIPTIVE
Your tasks and responsibilities as a safety studies engineer will include :

Analyze and manage operation permit applications,
-
Assess industrial installation risks across project lifecycle,
-
Conduct risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.),
-
Model hazardous phenomena (e.g., using PHAST),
-
Carry out hazard studies,
-
Track and manage requirement compliance,
-
Perform functional and value analyses,
-
Develop system architectures,
-
Define functional safety requirements and draft safety plans,
-
Write specifications for supplier selection and management,
-
Certify systems in their operational environment,
-
Establish and monitor planning (critical path, milestones, deviations, etc.).
