Automation Engineer – Hydrogen

Brief description

You will support identifiable projects along the hydrogen value chain projects (production and distribution units, fuel cells) as part of investment and innovation initiatives.

PROFILE

  • Engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in automation
  • Initial experience in industrial automation
  • Proficient with supervision and programming tools (SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, BECKHOFF, etc.)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interest in the energy transition and the hydrogen sector

DESCRIPTIVE

Your roles and responsibilities as an automation engineer include :

  • Perform automation studies (Functional Analysis, FMEA, Manuals)
  • Program PLCs and SCADA systems
  • Ensure system commissioning
  • Create and update safety documentation and programs
  • Deploy programs on test benches and client sites
  • Test and validate safety programs
  • Comply with safety regulations (ATEX, electrical, and pressure equipment risks)
  • Verify and validate test plans, test procedures, and test sheets related to control systems
